It took another moment of gathering her courage for Marinette to finally tell her: “A fleshlight.”
“A–” Alya blinked, mind working. Alya was the furthest thing from stupid. Given all the necessary pieces she usually put things together very quickly. Today was no exception. “A magic fleshlight that you feel when it’s being used!?”
Marinette’s face was burning but she looked at her best friend and nodded.
“So who has it?”, Alya immediately asked, not willing to just let it be.

Marinette finally feels like she can move on. She is living on her own, she is in fashion school, she feels ready to be happy. If only she didn't miss her superhero partner.
For Adrien, moving into his own place is the big step he needs to make. Being independent and making decisions for himself is something he has wanted all his life, so he should be proud of himself. But since he has no one to share this with, especially a certain someone who has always been more than a friend and partner to him, he can't help feeling lonely.
