Summary
Kanzaburo was famous, or rather infamous, for being slower than most crows due to his age, yet he was very eager. One day he was particularly fast to send Tomioka Giyuu, the Water Hashira onto a mission.
The mission was located at Mount Kumotori at a small village; allegedly lots of people have been going missing near that area. Perhaps it'd be a Lower Moon. No big deal for a Hashira like Tomioka, even if he was the worst one of all of them.
Now something that was a challenge, even for the best of Hashira, was facing the demon king himself all alone.

Summary
No Hashira survived after the war, and Giyuu was the last to take his turn towards eternal peace. Or that's what he expected before realizing that the place he woke up in wasn't where the dead were supposed to go.

.I'm quite bad at summarizing, but the point is that Giyuu returned to the time after the final selection as if he had just woken up from a long dream.

Summary
Tomioka’s eyes seem all-encompassing from this close, and an errant strand of hair has worked its way loose from his ponytail and falls across his nose. He’s leaning over Kyojuro, protectively, almost, and his hand is warm on Kyojuro’s shoulder, and he seems so unconcerned with their surroundings as his eyes seek out Kyojuro’s wound that Kyojuro feels immediately safe.
“That was quite a save, Tomioka! How did you get here?” he manages with effort.
“My crow gave me the wrong directions.”
