Summary
She had tried to stay detached, aloof, professional. And yes, she had been wrong before. But the kid was clearly scared of saying anything that would piss off his father, and there were older bruises, and that wrist fracture was the kind you get when someone grabs you and twists in just the wrong way.
--
A case with an injured kid hits a little too close to home for Trinity Santos, but don't worry, Robby's there to help her through it!

Summary
A series of non-linear one shots that take place in the same universe as each other with my invented backstories for all the characters. Many have references from other stories in the series, so there might be some confusion if some stories are skipped.

Summary
It's August of 2001, and Robby has just started his fourth and final year as a resident at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. On his first day back after a day off, he runs into Sergeant Jack Abbot, an enlisted Army medic who has been assigned to Big Charity for a two-week rotation in the ER. From the moment of their first meeting, sparks fly, and they give into their mutual attraction the night before Jack has to return to Fort Bragg to complete Special Forces training. Years go by before they see each other again, but when they do, the magic between them is undimmed.

Summary
Being at different colleges, miles apart, meant that they’d likely be too busy for each other. An unstoppable force tearing them apart. But he could hold on for now.
“Okay,” Stiles shakily answered, clearing his throat before continuing, “I’ll go with you after the game.”
The corners of Derek’s lips started to turn up into a small but hopeful smile.
It was different from the smile Derek did for football. It was always more personal—genuine—when he looked at Stiles.
