Eleven helped take Vecna down and returned him to Hawkins Laboratory — under Doctor Brenner's supervision — where they would make sure he stayed imprisoned there for the rest of his life this time. It was the right thing to do. It is the right thing to do.
Why then the ever persistent guilt in Eleven's chest, eating her alive and telling her; out of all the wrongs she'd done, rendering Henry defenseless and handing him on a silver platter back to that place was the worst of all?
Eleven needed to make up her mind; if she would do anything to make sure Henry was never free again, or if she would stop at nothing to save him from the real evil that was never her brother.

Now, Eleven and her very nice friendly Orderly, Peter, are staying in an empty cabin in the woods, very much hoping to lay low and attract as little attention as they can. Unfortunately, this neat little plan does not take into account the disappearance of one Will Byers, and the path his friends will take in the woods to find him.
