Summary
Captain Laurence had proudly served in the navy from the age of 18. Starting out as a navy pilot only to make his way to the captain of an aircraft carrier, things seemed to be going Laurence's way, even with the war not going quite to plan. That is until a precious piece of cargo is found in the recently captured Amitié's hold. A dragon's egg which might just change everything.
A modern AU where the dragons are still dragons and the people are people and there is still a war going on.

The London season of 1814 finds itself descended upon by a veritable horde of dragons--and their eligible captains. Shameless Regency trash.

Summary
Mr. Tharkay was entirely clever, entirely self-sufficient, and the Admiral was a true gentleman, respectful and warm towards the servants without being permissive, and they were both, Mary supposed, very great men in their own rights. It was only that, when they were together, she couldn't fail to think that they were not in their right mind.
Tenzing Tharkay, William Laurence, and the servants that observe them.

Summary
“Temeraire is alive and stable,” Tharkay interrupted, and continued speaking over Laurence’s gusty sigh of relief, “I believe what Captain Granby was struggling to tell you is that you are now short one foot.”
“Pardon?” Laurence said. The rush of solace at Tharkay’s initial pronouncement was so strong that he nearly could not comprehend what Tharkay was saying to him, until Tharkay nodded at Laurence’s legs beneath the wool blanket that had been tucked over him, and Laurence followed his gaze.
“Ah,” he said, for what else was there to say? The moment of disbelief stretched out as he looked at himself, and the place where his right foot ought to be, and wasn’t, and then he said, dumbly, “Well, I would rather have Temeraire.”

Summary
Autumn, 1930, New York City. The Guardian of Forever has given Spock and Captain Kirk one chance. An enterprising and neighbourly woman, Edith Keeler, is able to offer them work when they arrive, but Jim realises her rate of payment won't be enough to get them the supplies they need in order to locate McCoy before their timeline is forever altered. With little honest and lucrative work available, Jim manages to make a series of connections which will allow him to be paid for sexually servicing men at a discerning hotel in the evenings. Of course, Spock and Edith can't know.
Much like "City on the Edge of Forever", this is a Jim Kirk character study featuring complicated feelings about life, death, and falling in love.
