Summary
Lumon is conducting experiments on how best to refine one’s tempers. Each test subject represents a different balance of Frolic, Dread, Woe, and Malice. Waking up in a blank white room, with no memory of who they are or how they got there, they must each go on a journey of self-discovery to find out the truth of their existence.
… Okay so right now all I have done is “how would Logan, Patton, and Roman react after waking up from the Severance procedure” and I’m too bad at finishing things to promise that there will be more eventually, but hey, maybe that on its own is interesting for now?

Cities are born by death, and Capitals are crowned by blood. Shifting the location of a country’s seat of government is not as simple as crossing out a name. For a City to lose its power, a sacrifice must be made.
The Silent Wars: fought in the shadows between competing Cities. Most humans aren’t even aware of them. They think simple policy decisions are behind it all, that the leaders of the country are the ones with the power.
Cities are ruthless. Not bound by the limits of mortality, convention, or love, never singed by the tale of Cain; to kill a brother is an act of justice and war is a sport.
What happens, then, if a man decides that he has the power to trade away the Capital for a City not yet in existence?
