Summary
Shen Yuan had long ago resigned himself to the fact that he had transmigrated into an unimportant NPC. Which is why he is very confused when he is cursed into being an old man by a mysterious cultivator.
Shen Yuan had never intended on adventuring in this life, because he knew the fate of nameless male characters who tried too hard to get involved in the plot, but he's going to have to at least try if he wants to break the curse. Or maybe he won't have to go too far. Afterall, everyone knows that the protagonist, Luo Binghe, is basically a cure-all when it comes to these things.
Moving into Luo Binghe's castle won't be as simple as it sounds, though. It will involve deals with strange demons, side characters who are not where they belong, and a growing concern that Luo Binghe might not be the best person to marry Shen Yuan's sister.

Wu SuoWei is an alpha despite the incredulous looks he receives whenever he states his designation. Apparently, his scent, his build is not alpha-like. He scoffs at those comments but they have worn him down to the point of using scent blockers. Going through life as an unassuming beta is so much better, yet his girlfriend of 3 years breaks up with him.
She leaves him for another alpha and then another richer one, Chi Cheng, that seems to want to ruin every opportunity SuoWei has. Well no matter, he can get back at them both. Summary
Surviving as an omega pretending to be a beta is hard. Wu SuoWei knows this, but that is not the end of the world, not the worst that can happen to him. He prefers life this way, being a beta, working his ass off; that gives him a chance at a normal life. He clings to his lies as he clings to his job. One is necessary to maintain the other, and the other way around. He is an assistant researcher in a big pharmaceutical company; it doesn't pay much, but it allows him to keep his beta facade.
However, his body keeps reminding him of his limits and the secrets that can ruin his life. The weight of his lies crushes him when a new supervisor comes to the company, and SuoWei has to decide if he can accept who he is or if he is going to push his body to the edge. He will have to find out if a different life is possible, even if he is a nobody. -

Chi Cheng doesn't know how he ends up at the clinic. There was nothing wrong with him after all. It was not even in the part of town that he spent any amount of time in. But Guo Chengyu had told him that there was a contact of his around this area who could help him look for his snakes. So he'd walked around after meeting with said contact, an angry looking alpha with too many tatoos. Somewhere around the clinic, he'd picked up this mouth watering scent of waterlilies and an undercurrent of something sweet and sugary.
He wanted to get a closer sniff of the delicious scent. He wanted to bury his nose against the scent gland and hide the omega this sweet scent belonged to away so it would be all his.
Except, when he is faced with said omega in the clinic, it did not go the way he had expected. The sweet, sugary scent turned sour when he entered the almost empty clinic. Before he could get a real look at the omega, said omega had scurried away to the back and now he was being blocked by some other angry omega.

Chi Cheng is instantly obsessed with Wu Suowei but it seemed like Wu Suowei wanted nothing to do with him. That just would not do, now would it?
