But, the ones who remember recall the very moment they heard Liltih open her mouth and sing. It was more than music-it was as if she was standing right in front of you and singing directly at you, for you. It was akin to a wave rising up, heartbeats stuttering to life so similar to their mortal lifetime. Lilith sang about a future of equal standing, of influence in Heaven, of walking up with your head held in pride. She could make tears well up in the eyes of the most cold-hearted of people. Her songs caused a movement.
Sinners would try to replicate those songs but it was a cheap imitation. No one has been able to replicate it in almost eight years.
And those exact sinners felt a sense of deja vu as Charlie Morningstar began to sing as well.

Summary
It’s been a few days since The Favorite Character Awards.
Pomni has been through a number of bizarre things during her time in the circus. Candy truck chases, angel head horrors, minimum wage labor, athletic events, gun-filled battle royales. But none of these come close to what she witnesses on a seemingly innocent day full of beach-filled fun: Caine attempting to take his own life.
After managing to stop him, Pomni takes it upon herself (and is borderline forced to by Bubble) to help keep Caine’s mental state intact by engaging in improvised therapy sessions with him. After all, if Caine died, what would happen to the circus? And to the humans that lived within it? This was her only concern at first. But as Caine opens up to her more through these sessions, she realizes just how much the AI is hurting and how long he has been harboring these negative emotions.
Turns out Caine needs more help than she thought.
He's just as trapped in this game as they are. And worse.

Alastor needed something new to boost his ego and to get his mind off the sharp pain in his chest and his broken staff. Something easy and to bring him back to the swinging 60s in New Orleans eating flesh and burying bodies.
Ahaha! He got it he was going to play poker! He thought hard on who would be the person who would lose against him. His buddy Husk was obviously going to be a dealer. He couldn’t utter the word no if he wanted to!Angel Dust grew up in a mafia family; he would be too skilled in cheating. Cherri wouldn’t accept his offer. Nifty would stab the cards before Husk would be able to hand them out. Lucifer, no. Husk is his dealer. Oh, wait, he had just the one to play against him.

Angel snickered, shutting the book. “Alright, big boss. See ya tomorrow, Val.” He gave Val a lingering kiss before hopping to his feet and sauntering out.
As soon as the door clicked shut, Vox whirled on Val. “I spent all day trapped in my office, filling out anger management worksheets with the princess of Hell, and you’re down here letting that whore read you Marxist bedtime stories?!”
