The stars above were a welcome sight after weeks in the Deep Roads. The wind carried the smell of the evergreens that cluttered up the Frostbacks. Cylas, gazed up, tracing the constellations with his eyes as Zevran shivered next to him, bundled under one of the furs from their shared tent. The other elf watched their newest party member, Oghren, rather intensely, a frown on his pretty face. Oghren was, in turn, staring rather intensely at Cylas. He had been since he had joined the party as they headed into the Deep Roads to find Branka.

Zevran and Morrigan have a discussion after the party vanquishes Flemeth.
Zevran approached the slow-moving river with a light bounce in his step. Despite the battle taking place hours ago, his body was still humming from the latent adrenaline in his blood. They had done it. They had truly killed the Flemeth!
It may have been the third or fourth miracle his little party had managed, but it was still an impressive feat, to be sure.

The Hinterlands were beautiful this time of year. If you discounted the myriad of terrified refugees on the Imperial Highway, each harried mother's face and each sobbing child another reminder of the duty that awaited the band of Wardens as they made their way to Ostagar. But otherwise lovely.
