“Hands above your heads.” The man on the right says calmly keeping his gun trained on them. “And get down on the ground.” Him and one other soldier circle around them stopping once they’re behind her and Shauna.
Jackie raises her hands, her arms trembling. “Shauna.” She chokes on the name, fear clogging her throat.
“It’s okay,” Shauna whispers reassuringly to her. “We’re gonna be okay, Jax I promise.”
