When George finds out his visa has been accepted he's excited but scared he won't be able to hide his feelings around Dream in person and he'll mess everything up. When Dream finds out he's ecstatic. He can't wait to see George in person and finally confirm George's feelings for him so he can confess and they can be together. Being so sure of George's feelings Dream is extremely touchy with him.
This fic is going to be discontinued as I lost motivation for this and due to everything that's happened I am no longer in the fandom anymore. Short summary of what was going to happen in the last chapter notes.

“Okay, um, hi!” Karl says. The rest of the customer service spiel drips out of his brain because good god. Talk about puppy-dog eyes. They’re soft green, his eyebrows curving up a little like he’s nervous. He has dark blonde hair that spills in caramel curls from under his strawberry-patterned cat beanie. Karl is already enamoured and then, to seal the deal, he lifts his arm in a small wave and the sleeve of his greyish denim jacket slips down, revealing a couple of colourful beaded bracelets.
“Hi!” the man says.
“Hi!” Karl says — again. Nice one, Jacobs. “Hi, I’m Karl, welcome to the Shelter, what can I help you with?”
“Um, I wanted to look at cats,” he says. “I’m Dream.”
or: karl works at an animal shelter; one day dream comes in to buy a cat, and then he just... keeps coming back.
