Dante’s not mad. He just thinks it’s funny how Randal has the nerve to call into work sick when he’s really just a lazy tool who can’t be bothered to wake up before noon. Thirty-two and still playing hooky. Un-fucking-believable.

Summary
What would have happened? What would have happened if Betelgeuse had failed in marrying Lydia? What would have happened if he hadn't ruined her life? Lydia wondered that often, wishing it could have been different nearly eight years ago. Instead, she had to live with the knowledge she royally fucked up, was married to a poltergeist, and would never again get the chance to be normal. She hates everything, everyone, and would rather her life just... stopped. Unfortunately (or rather, fortunately), Lydia has someone who won't let that happen. The Ghost with the Most would never let a toy break on his watch.

Perfectly captures the essence of Chucky and Andy’s relationship, the tensions and resentment, angst... writing style has me grinning. This author really knows how to set a scene and captivate.

This felt like I was watching a director's cut of a hidden Home Alone movie, although much heavier than the original premise. Yet so tender and heartfelt.

During a perilous fight between the final debtor of Isle I, the brothers are faced with much more danger than they initially thought. With each other’s lives constantly at stake, they’ll have to put everything on the line to make it out alive.
And maybe they’ll learn a thing or two in the aftermath, too.

Impeccable details add perfectly to the story in a way that doesn't get too technical or verbose, but verging on sweetly precise AKA the perfect medium. The way the sibling bond ultimately (and instinctively) always outweighs doubts and petty rivalries... nice. Top notch dialogue.

Summary
Twitter is a disease and it is slowly killing Morty.
A innocent tweet turns his world and life upside down, starting Morty's descent into demonic cultivation.
It becomes maddening for Morty, wanting normality in a schedule although each passing day marks another decaying part of his life, slowly losing his conscious mind and self to the festering void of the other. And yet Morty won't tell anyone. He shan't, enjoying the thrill it gives him, though hoping his destruction of his mortal flesh would scream for outer aid.
Will Rick realise? Will his grandfather care enough to save him?
Morty hopes so as these tasks swallow and consume him whole.

Bookmarker's Notes
Possibly the best angsty R&M story I've ever come across. Morty’s internal dialogue is realistically dark but the agony is captivating and sucks you in. The conflicts he has within himself cut deep sometimes and the lengths of his masochism know no bounds. Had the best time reading this.
