Midoriya Izuku was a perfectly normal boy.
On his free days, he worked in the village’s singular bookstore, reading all he could about every subject he could in between helping others find the book of their choice.
But his favourite subject had always been the heroes of old, and while Izuku wanted nothing more than to someday become a hero, everyone knew that no one in the village had the coin to set the young boy on the path to his dream.

His home was gone, his mother arrested, his village likely slaughtered. And now he was in the company of a mad barbarian, whose steed of choice was a dragon.
If he was to survive, Izuku would have to learn how to fight.”
Izuku, budding scholar, discovers a secret not far from his front door, and inadvertently topples into the middle of a tug-of-war that will affect the whole world. Unfortunately, he is also the sometime prisoner of a bad-mannered barbarian, with outdated ideas about knocking him unconscious and dragging him halfway across the continent. Apparently it's destiny. Izuku just feels like it's a bit of a nightmare. . .
Based on the Fantasy AU illustrations, with King Arthur archetypes and some super-fun sexual tension.
UPDATE 6/30/24 - Hi! Story on hiatus currently. I had most of the next chapter written and my hard drive died. I lost it all T_T We will rebuild but I'm having the busiest year ever so it'll take some time. For now, I hope you find great adventure elsewhere! xoxo
