Summary
Tobirama should have been more careful, when he accepted Hashirama's invitation to go shopping. Of course, Hashirama would try to take him to that man. To that ... Seer.

Summary
He drops the blindfold to the table between them. It lands on bare parchment, beneath the last drying stroke of Madara’s writing.
“Put it on me.”
Madara sets the brush down, and covers the inkstone with a soft clack of wood. He doesn’t touch the strip of cloth, fallen in a shapeless character at the bottom of his letter, and he doesn’t stand.
“Good evening,” he remarks, with that odd half-smile of his. “Have you been well?”
Tobirama crosses his arms tight over his chest. His feet are braced, his yukata crossed over high against his throat despite the summer heat, and it’s taking a considerable share of discipline not to back away from what he’s started.
“Please,” he says, word heavy in his mouth when he remembers to add it. “Allow me to try again.”

Summary
Tobirama could map the spread of a poison, trace the arc of a contagion. But this was something else. A pressure building beneath the surface of every mind in Konoha, eroding restraint, whispering that want was reason enough.
He’d already ruled out infection, chakra interference, genjutsu, mass hysteria. None of it accounted for the same hollow look in the eyes of some of the villagers or the sudden hunger that burned through the rest. Something deeper was threading through them all, and it had started here—seven days ago.
At the center of it sat the merchant’s gift he confiscated from Kagami.

Summary
“…Come again?”
Tobirama should’ve learned by now that his preferred and efficient method of conveying information would never be enough for Hashirama. His brother, for all his greatness, often required the dots to be connected for him — sometimes drawn in crayon.
“They’re marriage proposals, Anija,” Tobirama repeated, this time with the slow patience reserved for children and overly sentimental brothers. He shuffled the top scrolls with sharp, practiced hands. “You’re already married and probably expecting an heir soon, which makes me the next eligible candidate for politically motivated courtship. The clans want unity. The daimyō want leverage. And apparently, the rest of the country wants a spectacle.”

Summary
Madara paused for half a breath. “We’ve got a lot of scenes together this season.”
“More than usual,” Tobirama admitted. It came out like a confession and a warning.
The host gasped. “Oh my god. Oh my god. I knew it. People are going to freak. I saw the leaked still from episode two? Where Raiden is holding Taira’s arm?”
Tobirama blinked, expression flat. “He was helping me off the ground. I’d been stabbed.”
“Yes,” she said, eyes gleaming. “It was so tender.”
