If it weren't for Lan Wangji's keen eyes and quick reflex, Wei Wuxian would have dropped the bowl of soup he was holding already.
"Go back to Yunmeng? Why is Zewu-jun suddenly telling me to go back to Yunmeng? I'm married to Lan Zhan. Cloud Recesses is my home." The exasperated sighs and chokes could be heard in the hall; all sect's seniors and disciples getting embarrassed on Wei Wuxian's behalf for his open declaration. Even Lan Qiren looked like he didn't wanna stay there any longer, his cheeks sporting a hue of red that if one didn't know any better would think he had taken a spicy beef broth instead of the Lan Clan's medicinal soup.
Lan Xichen, the ever graceful man, merely smiled gently as he set down his cup.
"Jiang Sect Leader, Jiang Cheng, had asked for you to come. He said that Lady Jin will be coming back to visit along with her husband and their son, and she wanted you to be there as well."
or, where Wei Wuxian went to his abode in Yunmeng with his husband for a short trip, without knowing there are people in the Cloud Recesses waiting patiently for his return home.

Sizhui picks himself up, starting to dust himself off and- oh. Oh no.
The shopping stall he’s been thrown at – with its contents now all over him – was filled with colorful paint.
He freezes. For a second his brain is unable to comprehend the sight of the snow-white clan robes covered in reds, blues, and greens in all shapes and sizes. He stares at them in mute bewilderment and only looks up again when he hears the laugher.
Wei Wuxian is bending over, leaning on one of the miraculously still standing carts and clutching his stomach in laughter. Sizhui straightens up slowly, trying to think of a way an upstanding member of his sect should react in this situation – but in the end, Wei Wuxian’s glee is contagious. Sizhui’s bewilderment turns into a chuckle which turns into unrestrained laughter as well. And it only makes Wei Wuxian laugh harder in turn.
(After everything, Wei Wuxian and Sizhui finally get some time together)

A look at Lan Wangji and Sizhui’s relationship through the eyes of an outer disciple of Gusu Lan Sect.
But instead of offering compliments, Hanguang-jun remained grim. In fact, he looked a little displeased.
"Not good enough. As you will see in practice." He said coldly. "Again!"
This time, Hanguang-jun joined in, pressing in on the attack. Sizhui blocked and parried, finding opportune openings to throw in figures from the sequence. But facing the relentless onslaught, Sizhui did not have quite the right balance in one of the steps, and the next moment his sword was knocked out of his grip and landed with a clang a few meters away.
"Pick it up. Again!"
