Summary
Dipper nudges the door open and makes his way inside. Mabel is buried in plushies, wound about as tight around Waddles as he’ll probably let her, her face streaked with tears and mascara. Dipper offers her a sympathetic smile, then looks around the room for a tissue box. He finds one, not on the nightstand but knocked on its side on the carpet, and he crouches to scoop it up before making his way over to sit on the edge of his sister’s bed.
“Okay,” Dipper says, and plucks a few tissues from the box. “What happened?”
Mabel accepts a tissue in one shaking hand to blow her nose, and another to feed to Waddles. “Y-You remember how me and Nile had a date after class today?”
Nile: the name of Mabel’s latest boyfriend. Maybe no longer. Dipper puts the tissue box aside for the moment—in its proper place this time—and adjusts, gesturing for Mabel to budge over. When he has an appropriate amount of space, he wedges himself in at his sister’s side and puts a hand on her back. He’s fairly familiar with this song and dance, but that doesn’t make it suck less to see her so upset.

"Kon-El, as in Kal-El?" It was another boy this time - Kid Flash - Kon's mind supplied, recognising the iconic yellow and red suit of the junior vigilante. KF pushed his way into the storage cupboard which, with the three of them now and the doorway crowded with heads, was definitely too close for comfort.
"Yeah - is it not the same here?" Kon looked around curiously and frowned when the heroes avoided eye contact sheepishly.
"It's just Conner" The Other Him huffed, arms folded across his broad chest.
"Okay 'Just Conner' - lovely chatting to you but do you think that there's, y'know, a way I can get home--"'
Or mainstream comics Tim and Kon meet the Young Justice crew and hilarity (Bearing in mind that this is my first foray into comedy) ensues. A lot of confusion.

But he wasn't chosen.
And that's fine, okay? It was a delicate situation, he understood that then and he understands it now. He doesn't hold it against Bruce, or Dick, or anyone after him who benefited from the Batman that he fixed. It's just, he hadn't realized how many things he lost out on while fixing Batman.

Raph growled again and attempted to pull away- he didn't need to be treated as if he was made of glass, he was tough, he was the brawn, he- his knees buckled.
The oldest caught him before he could fall, then carefully lowered him onto the floor. "I got you." He whispered. "I got you."

After a nightmare about the eldest brother sacrificing himself wakes him up in a panic, Raph can't admit to himself that maybe, he should seek comfort before he wakes up everyone else.
