Summary
Dean blamed the comfort of Sam’s snoring for how deeply he’d slept. Usually, he woke before Sam, a habit built up over years of making sure his brother got to school on time. But he was still luxuriating in their reunion, still adjusting to sleeping well with his brother just a few feet away again. So when he woke, Sam was already packed and leaving the bathroom with wet hair and a wave of humidity. Dean groaned and rolled onto his belly, half-hard from sleep. He drifted, half listening to his brother dressing, one hand shoved into his pants. He dozed off before he could get any action.
Shortly thereafter, he decided to start playing a game. He just had to see how long it would take Sam to catch up.

Summary
The handful of times it happened, they fucked with the lights off, Rust on all fours, sometimes on his belly, ass tilted up to meet the cradle of Marty’s pelvis. It was about getting off Marty told himself. Maggie was still refusing to see him and things with Lisa were over, so where else was he supposed to get off but inside of Rust’s taut narrow body?

Summary
Marty’s eyes were bright when Rust met his gaze. He wished Marty would close his eyes. More than anything, Rust wanted to be two bodies in the pitch black, two long lines of sensation without shape or meaning. The things Marty’s could say without words, with just his face, Rust couldn’t stand it.

Summary
When Sam died, it was April in Wisconsin. The hunt finished, Dean pulled himself up from the damp forest floor, Dad pulled himself up from the steaming body of a werewolf, and Sam’s long thin form stayed floating in Muskeg creek. His eyes were open, one underwater one out, and Dean had the urge to wipe the dreck of the stream from his forehead.

Summary
And hell, if Robby was going to get all up in Jack's business, he could return the favor. "Why didn't you tell me you were on shift today?"
Jack actually felt Robby tense against him. "I told you I was leaving today."
Which didn't actually answer his question. "As the priests liked to remind me, a lie by omission is still a sin," he drawled.

Summary
The idea of bossing you around is almost tempting enough to lure me from the beach.
The email was from Brian Price, who'd done his residency at PTMC before covid, then sailed straight into a cushy gig at Cedars thanks to family connections and Adamson's recommendation. Robby had quietly hated him, happy to see him go.
Brian's email included a forwarded job listing, seeking a temporary Chief of Emergency Medicine for PTMC, to start July 4th, Robby's last day before his sabbatical. Jack had been expecting Gloria to ask him to step up.
He'd heard nothing from her. And now this, as good as announcing the news: they were bringing in an external hire.

“You’re in pain.”
Robby exhaled, closing his eyes in a way that spoke of weariness and irritation.
“Chronic pain, Jack. That’s not new.”
Jack frowned at his husband's words, finally moving to sit next to him.
“This isn’t your normal pain.”
