Summary
Lance walks into the kitchen and stops. Physically stops, the cup in his hand that’s in need of a refill completely forgotten.
He turns, slowly. Raises an eyebrow. Are those...cookies? He blinks.
Yep. He leans in closer to inspect. Sugar cookies in the shape of pine trees. Green icing, mostly, with the stars on top slathered on in yellow. Well. They’re sort of messy, more like green and yellow blobs, actually. But that’s clearly the intention. Sprinkles for ornaments.
Christmas cookies.
There’s a whole plate of them---a paper plate, stacked high with handmade cookies, wrapped in plastic wrap---and they just randomly appeared. Right here on his kitchen counter.
Lance huffs out little sigh and shakes his head. Maybe mutters something under his breath. But he doesn’t give it much thought once he’s left the kitchen. Afterall, his perpetually cranky, sourfaced roommate basically lives to do weird shit to annoy him. Or something. Lance has found that living with Keith means one thing: expect the unexpected.
And everything tends to get a little crazier when the holidays roll around.

It took a brief conversation, a smirk, and a hand on theirs before Keith had them pressed up against the scratchy brick of a dark alley. The only thing he could think about while he fucked them was Lance’s name, Lance’s voice, Lance’s body, Lance’s smile, Lance, Lance, Lance.
The first thing that Keith thought after he came was that he was a real fuck up, that Lance was probably going to hate him, that there was no way that Lance, beautiful, sweet, amazing Lance, would want to be with him in this or any universe.
It was that thought that had Keith diving back in for another rough kiss, squeezing his eyes shut and trying to banish all thoughts of Lance.

Lance owns a witch themed cat cafe that rescues black cats. Each one has a unique collar and color coded name to help tell them apart. He's not supposed to play favorites, but he's already adopted his favorite, Red, as his own. Cold and distant to everyone, Red is extremely affectionate to Lance. Needy. Clingy. Protective. But Lance doesn't mind. He makes Lance's home a little less lonely. He's a little weird, but aren't all cats? He loves his baby boy, and he's eternally grateful for the day that little black fluff ball crossed his path.
Lance doesn't think twice about Red's odd quirks. That is, until he wakes up with a naked stranger in his bed.
And hey! Turns out Red is actually a witch named Keith who's been cursed to be a cat for twenty years. A really hot witch who's still very affectionate towards Lance.

Lance opens his mouth to say something else when they hear noises outside of Keith’s door. He raises a confused eyebrow and whispers, “What’s going on out there?”
“The castle has been alerted and is currently on the lookout for a trespasser.”
Lance’s hold on Keith tightens and he looks back at Keith with alarm. Still quietly, he says, “A trespasser? In the castle? Are you okay? What happened?” Lance looks around the room with a frown like he’s ready to pounce.
Keith rolls his eyes halfheartedly. He cups Lance’s cheek and pulls his gaze back. “The trespasser is apparently you.”

“Pretty cool. They’re definitely related,” Lance snickered, “both super ginormous mega nerds. He’s chill, though.”
Red shifted like a tap on his shoulder, Tell him I miss him.
Softy, he thought and felt his smile soften, “Red says she misses you, by the way.”
Keith’s expression went warm and just a little bit sad, enough that Lance’s heart twinged, “Tell Pidge I’m happy for her. I miss you too, Red. I miss all of you.”
The lights around him glowed brighter for a second and Lance felt like that too.

Time seems to stand still on Keith’s quiet little beach. Far from civilization, in an old cabin filled with memories, he often feels like he’s living in a bubble. A peaceful bubble, but a solitary one. While he can’t imagine living anywhere else— far too drawn to the magic of the ocean and the beauty in silence— he sometimes wishes that his home was a little less cold and a little less lonely.
Those wishes come true the day he rescues an injured sea lion on the beach. It just takes him a while to figure it out.
