"Just take care of yourself."
Seems simple enough, right? It didn't take a genius to figure out that that's what Elton was supposed to be doing while in rehab. Just sitting back, relaxing, and spending time taking care of himself. But he couldn't even do that, and he figured it was only a matter of time before Bernie and John found out about his failure to do the one thing he was supposed to do. He didn’t want to have to look the two of them in the eyes and tell them that he had failed, didn’t want to have to see their disappointed faces staring him down before abandoning him.
But now it's just him, wandering aimlessly through everything and hoping that he has the strength to pull himself together before he spirals out of control.

Bernie honestly couldn’t remember a time when this wasn’t happening; couldn’t remember a time when John and Elton hadn’t been fighting about one thing or another.
Well… Maybe he could remember a time when things hadn’t been so bad for his friend. Maybe in the beginning before shit began hitting the fan; when John actually cared about him, when his life wasn’t completely consumed by alcohol or drugs or shoving his fingers down his throat after every meal.
Back when it was just Elton and Bernie, taking on the world together.

Whoever said planning surprises was easy clearly has never met James or Sirius. Wherever they go, chaos usually follows.
When James, Sirius, and Remus are tasked with planning the ultimate birthday for Peter, they realize that maybe keeping things a secret isn't all that easy. They have the good moments, the bad accidents, and (of course) the whole list of things that they should have done but didn't.
Because really, what's life without a little chaos.

It wasn’t supposed to go like this.
The mission had seemed pretty straightforward. Easy, even. Get in, get the flashdrive with the weapons code, get out. It was supposed to be a small time mission, people who didn’t know what it was they were holding in their cocaine-covered hands.
It was supposed to be quick.
More importantly, Eggsy reflected as a steel-toed, booted foot landed squarely on his already-cracked ribs, ripping his breath away, it was supposed to be painless.
