“I always thought Mike was a little too intense with Will, honestly,” Lucas shares, fingers tapping the table absentmindedly.
He hears Max scoff, and Jane’s little giggle from the side that he turns to them and raises his brow to question their reaction.
“You clearly weren’t looking enough Lucas” Max says, Jane nods in agreement and Lucas looks at both of them in disbelief before giving Dustin a look of ‘Are they serious?’ And only gives him a shrug back, also not clearly understanding what the two girls were saying, because he was also pretty sure that Mike was a little (read: massive) obsessive/possessive/protective over Will.
“What I’m trying to say is, Mike might be intense with Will, but Will was the one who conditioned that, like a little puppeteer running a puppet show” Oh. Oh. Sweet? Innocent? Kind Will? Grooming Mike to be this Mike?
“Like a puppy” Jane adds.
or in which for the longest time Lucas has always thought that Mike Wheeler was the one with the unsettling obsession towards Will, but one conversation with Max has him spiraling and digging from his pre-pubescent memories.

Summary
“Shut the fuck up.”, Will whispers because he can’t, he just can’t deal with Mike’s confusing ass right now. The soft light is illuminating Mike’s features, jaw carved out so perfectly, cheekbones high, eyes so dark Will feels like they’re swallowing him. “You are, too.”, he adds.
“Prettier than your lame boyfriend?”, Mike ask, voice somehow careful and urgent at the same time.
“Mike…” Will shivers a little, not sure what to do with himself. It’s ridiculous for Mike to actually believe Will has a boyfriend; if that were the case, he would’ve never stepped a foot into this bed. But somehow, Mike’s need to come out on top compared to the guy he is supposedly dating makes Will break out in goosebumps all over.
“That’s not a no.”, Mike remarks.
“That’s not a no.”, Will whispers, scared to move at all and break the moment.
A soft grin plays at the corner of Mike’s mouth, “Oh, yeah?”
“Yeah.”, Will nods, “But you knew that already.”

“Looks like I bit you.” Will tilts his head to get a better look. All Mike can do is stare at him. His fluffy hair at the front, clumped pieces at the back where he’d slid his fingers in a mere few minutes before. His pretty green eyes that look hazel or even brown in this light, the dark circles he gets when he drinks framing them like intricate paintings. A satisfied, bloody smile.
Mike isn’t satisfied. He swallows thickly, choking down the words 'don’t you want more?'
Or: Will dresses as a vampire for a college halloween party, but Mike thinks his costume isn’t bloody enough. Will lets him fix it. Mike goes into a crisis.

Summary
"I just need you to know," Will says quietly, and he makes himself hold Mike's gaze, "that if something happens - if I hurt you, or anyone else - it's not because I wanted to. I would never want to hurt you, Mike. Never."
The words hang between them, loaded with more meaning than Will intended.
There's a pause where all Will can hear is their breathing echoing against the storage closet's walls. The hum is more distant now, buzzing in the back of Will's mind, but the uneven inhales coming from in front of him sound louder. The breath tickling his nose (because they really are that close) feels realer.
Mike's eyes are still darting across Will's face, and Will can feel him inhale sharply. "Will, why are you so convinced you're going to hurt someone? What did Vecna show you?"
Everything, Will thinks. He showed me everything. Showed me killing you over and over until I couldn't see anything else.
Somewhere between slaying interdimensional eldritch horrors, exploding an entire dimension, and risking their lives countless times, Mike and Will find each other.

The ground shakes and splits open, a red glow appears between the cracks slowly the plants begin to wither and die, turning grey. The cracks grow larger and larger, mass amounts of dark smog begins to flow into the sky, dropping white specks as the wind carries the clouds further over the town.
or
A Stranger Things rewrite following the end of season 4 to make the town corrupt and apocalyptic and actually be harmed by the upside down, with (hopefully) a good ending.

Will started screaming.
It wasn't a scream of pain though pain was certainly involved. It wasn't a scream of fear, though Will Byers had never been more terrified in his life. It was the scream of someone whose mind is being rewritten, whose consciousness is being shoved aside to make room for something infinitely larger, infinitely older.
"WILL!" Mike lunged for him but Jonathan grabbed him held him back.Will's hands flew to his ears, clawing, as if he could dig out the voice that was burrowing into his brain. His eyes those soft brown eyes that Mike had stared into a thousand times, that held kindness and art and will...rolled back.
ORRRR
They thought killing Vecna would end it. They were wrong. Did they think a few bits and bobs could defeat an entity older than the concept of time itself? The final battle was not the battle but an illusion and the real battle is only beginning and will is forced to switch sides.
What happens when the mine flayer decides to join the party and uses Will to his fullest potential. What can the rest of the party do when the big evil they have to fight... to kill... is their friend.Bookmarked by hiddenfae

As soon as William began casting the spell, he felt his energy leaving him with the words.
He focused in his mind on his paladin and on the bond that always sang so sweetly between them. He imagined him, in all his brave and courageous self when they stood side by side on the battlefield, his long, dark and wavy hair, often plastered to his forehead from sweat under his helmet, but silky to the touch. Will could imagine running his fingers through it. Memories of his brilliant smile resurfaced next, a smile that turned something akin to shyness whenever their eyes would meet across the room; freckles dotting his cheeks like stars themselves. A sword on his belt, a shield on his back. His warm, gloveless hand holding Will's own. He imagined all that and pulled at their vow.
“My love, where are you? Show me, where are you? No matter the distance, the plane of existence or time itself, I will find you.”OR:
Paladin Mike gets send into regular Hawkins world, and Will the Wise is trying to find him at all cost.

Percy looked up from his cards, “it’s short for Perseus.” Mr. D was apparently known for getting all of the campers' names wrong, so Percy thought it was a strange question. Percy also thought Mr. D was a strange man–god, whatever–though so he didn’t say anything about it.
“Why did your mother name you that?”
Percy just shrugged. His mother had never told him why she had named him what she did, and now he would never know.
Mr. D looked at him for what felt like forever. “It’s an unfortunate name.” He finally said. Percy felt like he should have been offended–if only on his mother’s behalf, but there was something in Mr. D’s tone that made Percy not want to question it.
He looked back down at his cards.
