Summary
The Riddler halts. Pauses.
“What the fuck, dude?” He finally exclaims, breaking all melodramatic pretenses and slamming his hands down on the table, “Either listen to the goddamn riddle or let me kill you so we can get this exchange over with!”
Peter nods, “Sorry, sorry, my bad on that one. I finally remembered the word I was thinking of. Here, let’s make a deal this time - cross my heart I’ll keep it - so if I can’t solve your riddle you get to…” Peter gestures, leaving it open ended, and the Riddler seems to perk up.
“Kill you in a blaze of glory,” he finishes, primly, and the melodrama returns as he crosses his legs and re-steeples his hands, “And if you win? I must be fair, after all.”
“Uhh… would you mind telling me where I am?”
OR
Peter's greatest enemy is time management and also maybe the hoard of superheroes that are crawling all over Gotham.

Summary
Peter is supposed to stay at Ned’s house after the Homecoming dance. Ned’s the only person he has to depend on when his body is bruised and busted. Anyone else who knows Peter is Spider-Man has brushed him off or is outright disappointed in him. Cue Ned’s rabid demon mode that is entirely fed up.
Seeing Ned no longer willing to tolerate Peter being disregarded sparks a change in Peter. If he doesn’t deserve it, then neither does Ned. He won’t let his brother be pushed aside by anyone, be they hero, villain, or civilian.

Summary
Peter Parker was having a suspiciously normal morning—which, in his experience, meant something terrible was about to happen. Sure enough, a trio of wildly unqualified criminals attempt to kidnap him in broad daylight, with bad attitudes, and a severe lack of planning. Their grand ransom scheme? Call Tony Stark.
Spoiler alert: it doesn’t go well.

“Excuse me, Mr. Thanos sir, I have a question.” Peter raised his hand like he was in class.
“Peter! What do you think you're doing?!” Tony looked like he was seconds away from having a heart attack. Steve just made a strangled noise, like he wanted to give a speech about impulsivity, but his words had failed him.
Thanos smiled condescendingly. “Yes, child?
Peter scratched his head. “Well, how exactly does this whole eliminate half of all life thing work? I mean, are you going to wipe the left side of the universe or the right side? Or is it totally random, and Earth might not even get touched? Or is it like half of every planet? But if it's half of every planet, which half? And are you still counting people that would have died tomorrow anyway? Or are you doing a hard cut off where people have to have at least 5 years left? And how do you know that anyway? And are we talking just people, or are you coming for puppies and my snake plant? ‘Cause if so, I need to emotionally prepare.”

Summary
While Spider-Man is a menace to the villains that call New York their home, Peter Parker is a surprisingly good listener for their woes. It starts with a hostage situation, as things often do, and Sandman monologuing about his latest stint in prison and how hard it is to get back into the villain game after so long locked up. Then came a kidnapping at Stark Tower while Electro tried to steal an Arc Reactor for the seventh time, then happening upon Lizard one day while walking home from school. Tony says Peter is villain catnip. But this? This is too much.
Peter’s entire AcaDec group sits on the ground, backs pressed up against the wall of the coffee shop Kraven the Hunter has taken hostage.
Or: after so many incidents with bad guys as Peter instead of Spider-Man, he decides to go with the flow and play into it a little
