Looking upon the four stone male faces, a foreign feeling of desire burns in her gut.
Sakura doesn’t want to become the next matriarch after her mother. No… she wants something money cannot buy (at the moment). She wants strength. She wants to be the first-ever female Hokage.

Their young faces were so happy to see them both together that Iruka’s anger washed away, and Kakashi’s frozen heart shifted. Perhaps the increase in bodies had made the room warmer. His layers made his skin itch, but he couldn’t bring himself to leave until the lessons were over. The wards were protecting, not judging, welcoming him to continue the conversation later.

Sakura focused, and she looked around. Something was off. Dad wasn’t here, so wasn’t Asuma or Kurenai, let alone Gai. Gai was like glue. He stuck around his students like white rice!

Haruno Sakura recalls several moments of indignance in her life, amidst an even more staggering amount of close calls with death - of the absolute fury that raged in her veins.
It had never been pretty.
Even less so when she finds herself staring right into the mirror, with mint green eyes replaced with eerie black irises.
She has always regarded herself as someone with an explosive temper, but now, looking straight into the signature pitch black eyes of a certain teammate - she couldn't help but wonder if she'd been overestimating herself.
Because, boy, the Uchiha sure had an interesting way of manifesting the will of fire.
And if it showed in the cracked mirror, her somewhat mangled hands (so, so tiny in comparison to the ones she'd used to save whoever she possibly could in the war), and the distant panicked whispers that couldn't quite pierce through the ringing in her ears - well, that wasn't anyone's business.
At least she still had pink hair.

Sakura yelped as she was squished against the woman’s torso, shifting in embarrassment and discomfort as something round and soft pressed against the top of her head, “Good to hear! Now about that other part of my demand. I was thinking I’d do a Sampler’s Course and maybe two of the mitarashi dango too. Oh! And also…”
As Anko continued listing off the different types of dango she wanted Sakura to buy for her, the pinkette’s wallet screamed out in preemptive pain, and Sakura let out a sad sigh.
She was about to be broke again, wasn’t she?

10 They make their way up to the stands, avoiding the medical personnel, and Kakashi keeps them far away from the Hokage so that he can watch the matches in peace. Besides, this way Kakashi can interfere in the match if Sasuke is in danger of being seriously injured, whether the Sandaime likes it or not. If he sits within hearing distance of the Hokage, then it would be possible for the Hokage to countermand his intentions to keep his student safe for political reasons, and after the fiasco with Sakura, Kakashi isn’t willing to risk that possibility.
Later, he isn’t sure whether he regrets not being there to protect the Hokage when all hell breaks loose during Sasuke’s match.
