Eadwulf huffs, almost a laugh. “Caught you on a bad day?” he asks. There’s a smirk on his face, and a spark beneath Caduceus’ ribs that doesn’t dissipate this time — instead it catches alight. And Caduceus slaps Eadwulf square across the face."

a fix-it/missing scene in a way, i suppose. mostly because in episode 141 when caduceus yelled at eadwulf i thought for just a second he was going to straight up attack him, and i think that wouldve slapped (haha) so.. i wrote a thing. but then it turned out angstier than i meant it to.. but who is surprised abt that?

Elena jerked to a stop with a gasp, right in the middle of the pavement. She all but pressed her face to the window, studying the snake curiously. It was quite large, even coiled as it was in its big leather armchair, and although its golden eyes appeared to be open, she could tell that it was probably snoozing. “What a beautiful creature,” Elena said to herself in a hushed, awed voice, and then made the snap decision to go inside the shop for another look.

When it comes to parenting, Jeralt has no idea what he’s doing.Well, maybe that’s a lie. Byleth is still alive, at the very least. She eats, she sleeps, and she spends her days wandering around and causing trouble in whatever temporary camp they’ve made that day. She’s fairly independent and insists on walking on her own when they travel. She’s deceptively strong for her size, too, and she hasn’t even grown past his hip yet. The other day she managed to gather a pile of firewood twice her height and at least five times her weight. Jeralt was and still is extremely impressed.
But there are other times where he doesn’t have the faintest clue how he’s supposed to handle this wide-eyed, silent child of his. Times such as right now, at the foot of a wide oak standing a short distance away from their campsite, staring at his only living flesh and blood sitting a good thirty feet off of the ground.
