Summary
Ranboo is not what they thought they were. Their memories hold more answers than they know and the server that they once thought they could be safe in is, in truth, the most harrowing place they could be.
They must carve out their place in one cruel and broken world and learn to survive while uncovering the truth of another.
In moments between life and death, they gazed into the howling eyes of god-eaters and it grew attached and followed them home. Everything they thought they knew about the world was a lie. There are monsters lurking in the crevices of their mind, and some still prowl the shadows, watching and waiting to strike.
It waits patiently, waiting for the one chosen through birthright to sit upon the throne of crystal madness and eternal suffering. It has waited eons and will wait until the end of eternity.
It waits for Ranboo.
Or, A fantastical world filled with intrigue and cosmic horror that I thought up on a random tuesday night at 2 in the morning. Centered around Ranboo and building up to their fucked up backstory.

“Ranboo…” Tubbo began solemnly, holding up his hand to him.
His eyes widened as he took a step back.
“Your leg too..."
“No…” Ranboo mumbled, taking an unsteady step back and falling on his ass, “No, nonono, this… no…”
“Fuck!” Tubbo shouted, throwing the metal pipe across the room, “Fucking dammit!”
He didn’t care how much noise he made.
What did it matter? They already made so much fucking noise, and Tubbo fucking failed.
“What are we going to do?” Ranboo asked, clearly on the brink of tears.
He was uselessly wiping the blood away from the bite, only for more to replace it. As though if there was no blood that the bite wouldn’t become infected. Or maybe he was trying to wipe the wound itself away, hoping it wasn’t real.

Summary
When Tommy was hungry, he would crouch in the underbrush and wait for a rabbit to come by, shooting it with an arrow before spitting it over a small campfire.
When he was tired, he would rest against a tree or maybe climb into one for the night.
When he was lonely or scared or sad, he had no solution. Walking through the forest alone was better than being tortured by Dream, better than a pool of lava or a tall tower of dirt blocks, he reasoned. And he was only a temporary forest-man. Still, the quiet grated on his ears.
An AU in which Tommy runs away from not only Dream but the entire SMP, finding a new life and peace (and maybe an orphan who needs a home). When he's forced out of hiding seven years later, he's a changed man -
