"Shuuhei is aware that he’s staring. Worse, people around him are aware as well, though no one has come right out and asked about it. Then again, in the middle of all that is going on – or has happened – the fact that the vice-captain of the 9th division seems to have a staring problem with a member of another division is probably ranked quite low in everyone’s priorities. Or maybe it serves as a good distraction; let’s wonder about Hisagi Shuuhei’s sudden obsession instead of how we were betrayed by three captains.
Shuuhei has to admit, if only to himself, he might just be one of those people.
