Summary
Instead of them heading out like Vaggie expected, Charlie turns and gently holds her girlfriend's hands. Her movements are gentle and loving, but still the fingers on Vaggie's right hand twitch with spasms. A breath escapes Charlie as her girlfriend's thumb gently traces the scar on the back of her hand. "Vaggie... How long has it been this bad?"
Vaggie really wishes they could just leave for the club. It makes it the angel nervous when all the attention is on her, especially when it's specifically because of one of her flaws. She answers but only because she knows Charlie has her best interest in mind. "I don't know. A month, maybe? Some days are worse than others. It's not a big deal."
"Vaggie, no." Her girlfriend's voice is soft but very serious. Trying to hide concern is the best way to describe it. "This is very serious. It needs to be looked at right away."
