Leo camps out--colonizes--the spare room. He comes, he tries to give Madara souvenirs, and he conveniently (or maybe genuinely, because he’s...well, Leo) forgets them as soon as he leaves.
Soon, his knick-knacks are decorating the window sills, the walls, the floor. They spill out into the living room, kitchen, even Madara’s bedroom. Carvings and figurines and fun notes he leaves scattered about because he seems to think all at once or not at all.

(Some part of him always wondered if maybe he’d just be dead in ten years, and maybe that would just be better for everyone if that were the case.)
Izumi’s pain is like a scab, a scar, something he must’ve picked at over the years. But for Leo, it’s still fresh, an open wound that he let fester for too long, threatening to rot.
