Summary
“Are you single?” Gaara asks. He’s not sure how he’s meant to do this.
“Oh, I see,” the man says after a pause. “I’ve read about this. You’re asking me out, and I should answer based on my interest rather than my actual relationship status.”
Good, he’s making this easy, Gaara thinks.
OR: Gaara asks Sai out.

Summary
Sam looks at him for a long moment, scanning over him for signs of whatever emergency Dean's got his maybe-not-entirely-proverbial panties in a twist over.
"De-aging spell…?" He asks after a minute, squinting at Dean's babyface. Dean laughs, just this side of hysterical.
"Not—not exactly," he says.

Summary
It’s nice not to feel sometimes. Maybe that’s why Cas doesn’t delve too deeply into figuring out what this absence of feeling must mean, because he secretly desires that cold, distant nothing feeling. The more likely reason is that Cas already knows what’s wrong with him. He’s not looking it in the face, not acknowledging the truth of it that sits heavily on his shoulders, pinning him to the earth with its undeniable presence.
See, Jack brokered a deal wherein Cas gave the Empty his grace in exchange for a life back on earth and Cas was wiped clean of every angelic notion to the very dregs. And in its place, there is nothing.
Cas is graceless. Cas is soulless.

Summary
Cas was resurrected. Dean told Cas that he loves him, that he can have everything he wanted, but Cas has to stay with him. Cas promised that he would. The thing is, he didn’t realize how literal Dean was being.
Now, Cas works on rebuilding Heaven with the angels, while he builds a new life with Dean. Neither of those things are as easy as Cas would have liked.
*
“Angels have been interfering for too long,” Jack insists. “Humanity deserves some peace, and I intend to give it to them.”
“Then why did Cas go back?” Anna demands.
“That doesn’t matter,” Cas says, willing Anna to just let it go.
“Yes it does!” she argues instead.
“And Heaven deserves some peace too!” Jack continues, raising his voice. “That won’t happen if we’re getting into conflicts on Earth.”
“Then why does Cas get to go back and I don’t?”
“That’s different,” Jack says. Cas cringes.
“Why, because it’s the Winchesters?” Anna asks. “The old God is dead, why are they still the centre of the universe?”
“Because it’s Dean,” Cas says.
“And?!”
“And I love him!”
"It's still not fair. You can't set up rules and exceptions and call Heaven free."

Summary
“Could you please relax, I know how to drive in a city,” Cas lies, and Dean keeps his eyes closed so he doesn’t have to see Cas get his baby into a fender-bender.
At least until Cas starts singing along to the radio under his breath, and then Dean can’t help but stare at him, late summer sunshine dancing across his face as he dutifully keeps his hands textbook-9-and-3-o’clock positions on the steering wheel and stomps way too friggin hard on the breaks.
Cas tilts his head and gives him a questioning look, so Dean grunts, “Eyes on the road, dumbass,” and tries to only watch Cas surreptitiously through the corner of his eye. An angel of the dickhead-previous-lord, untethered and fully mortal, back from the dead and happily playing chauffeur for him, and all Dean can do is bark at him. Literally there’s no reason for Cas to still be sticking around, but fuck it, here the guy is.
It’s just—retirement, man. Doing his goddamn head in.alternatively, the cas gets cucked fic

Dean runs across the ad by accident. He’s surfing local newspapers, scanning for something that might resemble a hunt, and he skims through the classifieds for the hell of it. Sometimes there’s fun stuff in there, chickens for sale, or even a haunted dresser.
That’s when he sees it: Southern Arizona ghost town seeking full-time caretaker. Contact for details.

Summary
In the end, Han doesn’t say anything about what he’s been thinking. Been feeling, over the hours and days since they’ve met. He doesn’t say, I’ve been thinking about how you’d feel in my arms. How you’d taste against my lips. Instead he says all the wrong things; he always does. Instead he says, “May the Force be with you.”

Summary
"“I’m A Weirdo” by The Lonely Island is playing as we pan around Jughead’s shitty apartment. It’s a complete mess, papers, rubbish and clothes everywhere.
Eventually, we see that he’s asleep on his desk, a battered typewriter next to his head. Conspicuously stupid hatless, he’s wearing a t-shirt and boxers. On the desk, his phone is vibrating with a call from “Betty”. It wakes him up as the lyrics begin, and he starts at the time."
Seven years after the uninterrupted events of 'Killing Mr Honey', Jughead Jones works himself out.

Summary
Julian doesn't think about it much these days. Why should he, when it's been so long?
But when he does, if he does, well—he considers it part and parcel of Garak, that's all. Disconcerting at first, a little invasive. Awfully close to a line but not quite crossing it, and leaving Julian with absolutely no idea what he's meant to do in response. Garak in microcosm, summarized in a single unexpected gesture.
(Or: Julian has always thought Garak just had a weird little habit. Until another Cardassian does the same thing to him, and seems to imbue the gesture with a meaning Julian really had not anticipated.)

Summary
He’s not sure what he’s more angry about, is the thing. The betrayal or the subsequent lie.
Or—maybe that’s not quite true. He knows which one he’s more angry about, and he knows that rationally it should be the other one. But needless to say, if Kendall had told him the truth about why he did what he did, Stewy wouldn’t be heading to his place uninvited at 11PM on a Saturday night, brimming with righteous fury like the proverbial woman scorned.

Summary
“I remember things that aren’t real,” he says.
“Things like my dreams?” she says quietly. “Bad things?”
“Things about us, like some other life where, where none of us forgot each other.” It feels impossible to keep his head up and he lets it fall forward, pressing the heels of his hands into his eyelids. “Not bad things, that’s — that’s the worst fucking part.” He laughs hollowly. “We were happy, Beverly, that’s what I saw.”

Summary
Eddie could see the layers and layers of tape he’d wrapped around the leg of Richie’s glasses over a month ago, shaped like a little cocoon. He reached out and touched it with the tip of his finger.
“These don’t even sit straight anymore,” he said. “Why are you still wearing them?”
Richie didn’t blink from behind the lenses until Eddie took his hand back.
“I don’t know. My life is kind of a mess right now. They feel appropriate.”
“Your life isn’t a mess, Rich.”
“It really, really is.” Richie straightened, started talking with his hands when he said, “Hey, shouldn’t you be shouting? I feel like this would be easier if you were shouting.”
“You said you’d take this seriously,” Eddie said.
