A timer clicked idly in the background as the closet pinned to the far corner of the room shook violently. White Lily Cookie glanced around nervously at the remaining people in the huddled circle.
“What if Pure Vanilla gets hurt? Should we break up the fight?” She asked quietly.
“No,” Burning Spice retorted, “those dumbasses know the safe-word to get out. No one’s getting hurt. It’s 7 minutes to do whatever you want, maybe let them beat each other stupid.”
Hollyberry Cookie locked eyes with Eternal Sugar, a brow raising curiously.
The other responded with a silent giggle, muffled by the soft white feathers of her wings.
The timer rang out loudly, and White Lily shot up, before being pulled down abruptly by Hollyberry.
“Let them come out on their own, just yell that their times up.”
“Why?”
OR
Pure Vanilla invites the ancients and beasts to a sleepover (pitaya comes instead of silent salt) and they play some games, eventually 7 minutes. All seems fine until Pure Vanillas a little too eager for another round after Hollyberry finds a questionable sticky white fluid in the closet..

Summary
There weren't a lot of things that truly scared Pure Vanilla.
Yes, he had the normal, average fears like losing his loved ones. Or of hurting those he cared about. However, those were normal.
But... one thing he had never been able to shake was his fear of cages. Shackles didn't bother him much, but bars encircling him from all angles made his chest tighten with raw, primal fear.
He knew why this was, of course, but had long since left that part of his past behind.
However, one night... something prompts him to finally open up about what exactly happened that dreaded week.

But how rough can you pull a weed, until it never comes back? Until delicate petals overshadow its growth? Until all you can do is be mesmerized by the good, so that the bad is barely recognizable?
How much can Shadow Milk keep pulling, and pulling, and pulling, until his beloved can do nothing else but focus on a gorgeous expanse of flowers? Until he can do nothing else but focus on him?
