She fell for the oldest trick in the book, trusting her fellow players because they were women, exactly like her, so where was the reason to doubt? She wasn’t even working that night so a bit of play and games wouldn’t have hurt – and even if they did, that would have been even better. Some tea, a couple of Fontanian cigarettes – the same one Ningguang used to smoke, now changed to some odd Natlan ones with a more earthy undertone, whatever that meant –, Inazuman rice wine and some Fine Tea, Full Moon to finish it off; it was too comfortable, too easy to be lulled by the smoke and the drinks.
She didn’t notice it was too late until the whole table erupted in laughter.

Ever the epitome of formality, Neuvillette nodded in acknowledgement. “And you too, Your Grace.”
And with that, he departed the Fortress, heels clicking gently against the rustic metal. Wriothesley watched him go with furrowed eyebrows and an intent gaze - it was almost as though the feeling of Hydro around the seal he’d left had returned full-force, leaving an elemental residue in his wake.It was no longer a joke, the Duke realised with a jolt. He really, truly wanted to drink tea with the Chief Justice.
(In which good times are had by all, the kettle in Neuvillette's office finally sees a healthy amount of usage, and tea is most certainly not a metaphor for anything important, trust me.)

At that, Neuvillette had looked up from the letter of request that he’d been perusing quietly. He let himself briefly take in the setting of virtual comfort he’d found himself in, of all the things he never thought he’d ever experience in a thousand lifetimes.
“No, I have not,” he replied matter-of-factly, and then resumed reading without question.

Everyone tells Vision and Wanda's first post-Raft reunion a little bit differently. Here's my contribution to the lot:
In the underbelly of Milan, the Vision wanders madly while waiting for word from Steve Rogers. He left the compound after hearing that an escape attempt was being made at the Raft, and he just can't find it in himself to return (or even sleep) until he knows his teammates are safe. His teammates, and . . . someone whom he feels he owes the apology of a lifetime. Unbeknownst to him, however, an opportunity to give that apology (as well as find solace in forgiveness) is just around the corner.
Dedicated to ChestnutBrumby, in recognition of their hard work and incredible contributions to fan content. This story is absolutely inspired by and adapted from their own version of the tale - please read that, and their other fantastic works as well!

Summary
Team Cap has been living like war criminals for almost two years. It hasn't been easy in plenty of ways, but a few specific sufferings have been on Wanda Maximoff's mind lately, and she just can't seem to shake them off. Maybe it's finally time that she voiced her frustrations with the person it affects the most.
The Vision has become accustomed to near-constant isolation, and the little time he has to spend with Wanda has started some new wheels turning in his head. His plan is well-intended, but in order to make everything work out perfectly, he's unknowingly fallen victim to a very human weakness.
It's a soft, quiet night, and both Wanda and Vision simply want to enjoy their time together - but first, there are just a few obstacles to overcome.
