Except on the mornings when Megumi woke up later than Yuji and stumbled out of his bedroom. His eyes heavy lidded, hair messier than usual and his voice raspy from sleep. With his shirt rumpled and his tiny sleep shorts mocking Yuji’s will to live.
It was enough.
Except when Megumi got out of the shower, water dripping down his torso and a towel wrapped precariously low on his hips as he walked down the hall to his bedroom. When Megumi emerged from his room wearing a hoodie so oversized that his hands drowned in the sleeves and the hem came down to mid-thigh. When Yuji realized it was his hoodie.
It was fine. It was enough.

“Okay, what the fuck are you talking about? Do you want me to buy oranges or something?” Megumi asked, already over whatever Yuji was doing. When Yuji pulled back, the look on his face gave Megumi pause. “What’s wrong?”
Yuji swallowed, his eyes falling to Megumi’s waist and then back to his eyes. “You… you have a new scent.”
Megumi scrunched his nose. “What? What do you mean ‘new’?” He didn’t smell anything new. Was Yuji having a stroke?!
Yuji leaned forward again and took another inhale before answering. “Your normal scent is still there, but there’s something new. It’s like… oranges.”
Megumi rolled his eyes. “Yuji, people don’t just develop new pheromones. That’s impossible. That only happens when an omega is preg… pregnant.” His last word was barely audible, but Yuji’s eyes widened when he heard it.

Did he miss something? Like a "wanted" poster for a clothing thief?
Before he could even process why the hell he was missing so much clothes, he felt a strange weight on his back.
Itadori jumped maybe a foot into the air before he managed to spin around, only to see a slender pair of arms wrapping around his waist and a head that looked suspiciously like a sea urchin tuck itself away, burying into Itadori's back like it was trying to hide.
"Fushiguro, what the hell?" Yuuji questioned, baffled.
