He grasps at consciousness as he listens to Eddie moving around, the bed dipping close to him. Everything smells familiar here, like them, him and Eddie, and the bit of him that’s still able to think realizes he hasn’t been afraid of falling asleep. That he hasn’t been thinking about waking up in that other place, that he hasn’t wondered if he’s halfway to the grave, if he’s going to end up in that not quite right dream again.
That he knows where he belongs, and he wants to keep it. He wants it, desperately wants it, more than anything he’s ever wanted, and he has it, he’s not going to destroy it, and it’s a relief, knowing that.

Summary
All of the dwarves survive the Battle of the Five Armies and Bilbo comes back to the Lonely Mountain with a recently orphaned Frodo one year later. He and Thorin eventually marry, Bilbo becomes Consort Under the Mountain, and the Kingdom of Erebor slowly returns to its former glory under their leadership. Meanwhile, they've also got three nephews to contend with and a Company of dwarves who can't seem to keep their noses out of everybody else's business. Political intrigue, royal headaches, cabbage patches, and hilarity ensues...

A laugh, an actual laugh! Hard to hear beneath the merriment, but true and strong. Bilbo vowed that instant he would hear that laugh properly. In so noisy a hall, that meant Bilbo would have to make him laugh very loudly indeed.

When college sweetheart Park Jimin gets dragged to a party by his friends one Friday night, being popular with both boys and girls, he's not surprised at the attempts to pick him up. Of course none of them succeed because Jimin doesn't sleep around, no matter what you hear about him. One guy, though, this confident, straightforward, almost aggressive guy has him stuttering and blushing like an idiot and he couldn't tell you why to save his life.
Imagine his shock when he later finds out that this was, in fact, infamous playboy Min Yoongi and Jimin made a complete fool of himself in front of him. Cue annoying nosy friends and weird coincidences messing with Jimin's emotions when what he really needs to be worrying about is his dance final.

Park Jimin had always been fascinated by humans. They were strange, he decided, though maybe that was because he only had Taehyung and Namjoon to base his knowledge on. Regardless, Jimin decided to keep his distance, to play it safe, like the sensible mermaid he knew he was.
That is, until, he spots one Min Yoongi. Min Yoongi with his dark hair and his gummy smile. Min Yoongi with his gentle eyes and quiet smile. Instantly intrigued, Jimin finds himself pulled into an inescapable spiral of humans, shells, and maybe a little bit of flirting.
