Summary
When the portal to another dimension continues to grow inside Hawkins National Laboratory, Dr. Brenner decides to send Number Five through for recon. The only other child that survived the massacre besides Eleven, Five's psychokinetic abilities aren't what the Lab hoped for. The talent they have listed in her (very short) record is the manipulation of electricity, a rather destructive ability that cost a fortune to manage anyway. They send her through the portal, cutting the loss when the harness they put her in comes back empty and covered in blood.
But Five isn't dead. She saw an opportunity to break free and she took it. Out of the Lab's reach and no longer inhibited by sedatives and Soteria, Five's impressive electrokinesis and killer instincts will flourish when she lands in the care of Good People following her chance encounter with a young boy trapped in the Upside Down. With time, she’ll learn to navigate every day life in Hawkins and make friends outside of the Party, but it’s the town’s resident metalhead that will see her for what she truly is and what she is ultimately capable of.

The two prefects could not be more different: Jungkook finds the trail blazing girl fascinating in a sort of horrifying way and Aera is determined to make the future leader of their generation see why women should be equals.
Historical AU set in the fictional land of Retrorsum where sexism, gender roles and female domesticity are the norm. Rich, aristocratic Jungkook & strong female lead.

"Beth," I started, wishing I had never entered the stupid tournament in the first place. Why did I have to enter the US Championship just to beat her? What kind of sister does that?
"I hate you," she spat, tears dropping from her eyes. I felt something inside of me freeze, the weight of her words sinking into me. Her eyes were so sharp and menacing, and I could tell she was telling me the truth. I wanted to tell myself she didn't mean it, but I'd never seen that look in someone's eyes before. She looked at me like I had ruined her.
