Summary
Sometimes the hardest battle isn’t enough to change a heart, sometimes all the war and blood in the world isn’t enough to shift a single destiny.
Sometimes a simple touch is enough to break down the strongest of barriers, sometimes a single word is enough to make the world quake.
Sometimes the most reaching of changes comes in the form of a little boy sad enough, strong enough, and kind enough to make friends with a monster.
Sometimes one change makes waves.Naruto has been hearing the rumbling growl in the back of his head for as long as he can remember. He’s seven when he tries to talk to it for the first time. He’s the dead last, the failure at everything, so he doesn’t actually expect to succeed.
And when he’s suddenly standing, knee deep in murky water and face to face with a demon, he has no idea what to expect.
As it turns out, the world could use something unexpected. In which Naruto discovers the real meaning of the word monster, Sasuke discovers power and strength and learns the difference between them, and Sakura discovers that being herself is not as selfish as she thought.
Where Kakashi learns to fight again for what he loves, and Obito never stopped.Series

Summary
He dies, and when all is said and done in that inky after-death, Father hands him an old scroll, adorned with the Hatake clan symbol and a peculiar looking seal.
“One of my biggest regrets,” Father tells him, “is never getting the chance to introduce you to the clan.”
He wakes up into a valley he’s never seen before, occupied by silver-haired villagers with familiar, dark eyes. As the questions grow darker than the answers, everything Kakashi thought he knew about the Hatake is challenged, as is his hope for ever getting home.
---
Kakashi dies, un-dies, and opens his eyes to blue skies and a valley occupied by the peaceful Hatake clan. Though resting and healing seem straightforward, it’s anything but in this village where he’s viewed as a threat by most--not to mention his own, newfound clan attributes that threaten to swallow him whole.Series

Summary
Wave changed a lot about Team 7, but not enough to make them entirely functional. Also someone should have really reminded Kakashi to pay attention to that tiny part of his genius brain that recognises random patterns, before he called a rest stop on the way home on top of an old, decayed Uzushio travel seal with an over-chakra-charged Uzumaki.
And he thought the month of the Wave mission was long, now he's stuck with the team, in a place he never expected to have anything to do with, with no way back.
Maybe he should have paid more attention to history, or stayed in the academy long enough to have history classes.Series

Or, 'How I Learned to Stress Out and Ruin Everything': a gripping tale of tears, danger, tender hearts and derring-do, in which I take on a world that isn't as made-up as I thought it was and my choices really, really matter.
[A self-insertion story that has been a long time coming but was also inspired in no small part by YourIdiotWriter's SATOKO and Tozette's Day One.]
