Summary
At an all-boys boarding school in Gyeonggi-do, a mysterious new student causes a stir by enrolling in November as an eighteen-year-old repeating senior. The school, while not elite, holds a respectable reputation in the region. Among the students, Yang Jeongin, a dark-haired sophomore, excitedly shares news of the newcomer with his close-knit group of friends, including Hwang Hyunjin, Kim Seungmin, Han Jisung, Lee Felix, and Seo Changbin. The group learns that the mysterious new student is moving in next to Jisung, who becomes increasingly anxious as rumours swirl about the newcomer's troubled past, including accusations of drug dealing, bullying, and even murder.

In an unexpected turn of events, Han Jisung finds himself in detention with the notorious new student, Lee Minho, setting the stage for an intriguing and potentially life-changing encounter between the two.

It was as if the older boy had his own gravitational pull that drew Jisung in, urging him to lean closer, and he wasn’t sure if it was the promise of warmth or something else that had him consider scooting closer to Minho.
“A nice guy would offer me his jacket,” he grumbled, ignoring the pleasant clench of his stomach when Minho’s smile became confident and impossible to miss even in the limited light.
“You’re not into nice guys, Jisung,” he said, and his words sent a frantic rush of blood to Jisung’s cheeks, warming his skin to burn hot in the cold air of the night.
Jisung swallowed back a shaky exhale, trying to keep some semblance of cool even if he had to avert his eyes.
“Who says I’m into guys at all?” he countered with an embarrassed mumble that only made Minho’s smile grow wider.

When Jisung is caught shoplifting his life seems to have hit rock bottom.
The reformatory institution he is subsequently sent to is more like a private boarding school, with a weirdly paternal founder and a group of residents, of whom Jisung is pretty sure at least one has it out for him.
But there’s also Minho.
