Summary
Emma feels pure happiness bubble up inside of her as she stares at the sprawling landscape of tall city buildings before them. They’ve made it. They’re in the human world.
They never have to worry about being eaten by demons again.
“Norman,” she chokes out, tears spilling out of her eyes. “Ray.”
Norman reaches out and grabs her shoulder. “We’ve made it, Emma.”
She smiles at him through tear-streaked lashes and reaches for Ray.
Emma freezes as her hand grasps empty air and panic overwhelms her.
“Ray?”
Emma and Norman arrive in the human world, only to find Ray missing.
At the base of a snow-covered mountain in Japan, Ray opens his eyes.

“What is it young Midoriya?”
“One, don’t call me that, it’s degrading and honestly bullshit, and two, I thought you said people like me couldn’t be heroes. Wouldn’t that mean I should be on the villains team?”
“Language! Please refrain from swearing, it is not very hero like!”
“Neither is leaving a kid on a roof without checking them for injuries, but I didn’t say anything about that,” Izuku snarked, his arms crossing.
“Midoriya?” Uraraka asked, staring at him in confusion. The complete swap in personalities had probably done that. Oh well, he still respected Eraserhead, PresentMic, Midnight, Ectoplasm and Cementos. It was All Might’s fault he’d lost Izuku’s respect.
Or:
Izuku respects all the teachers… except All Might. All Might doesn’t deserve his respect.
