“They say the Palace of Alcazarzaray is my Magnum Opus,” Kaveh says, fiddling with the sleeves of his drenched white shirt.
“Well, I sure hope so,” she agrees. “Though, I doubt it’ll remain so for very long.”
Kaveh finds himself finally looking up, breath caught in his lungs, a lump in his throat that makes it impossible to talk without choking. He blinks back the heat in his eyes.
“I’ve already lived my ambition. There is no after,” he says, voice unsteady like a stormy sea.

“I dunno…” Stelle yawns, clearly unaffected by his or anyone else’s opinion. “The snow was soft, and I got sleepy.”
He hears a click at his side and turns to glare.
“What? It was a perfect opportunity for a picture!” March says, camera out unashamedly, though she slowly hides her face behind it the longer he stares. “C’mon, it’s a memory, let me have this…"
And so— perhaps predictably, he can't say he didn't see this coming at this point— it becomes less of a Belobog scenery trip and more of a ‘where is Stelle sleeping today’ trip.
(or: Stelle sleeps so very weirdly, March 7th wants a photo collection cataloging this fact, and Dan Heng reluctantly updates the archives.)

There is a well-known natural law across the cosmos that newborns are universally quite vulnerable and dependent on others within their first few hours of existence.
Fortunately (or unfortunately), Stelle was an exception. Her first two system hours after gaining consciousness involved smacking lots of enemies with a baseball bat; something she found herself enjoying immensely.
Meanwhile, March 7th and Dan Heng watched their new companion from afar, shaking their heads exasperatedly.

"Perhaps we should move on. I don't want her to overexert herself and get hurt—"

Dan Heng wrinkles his nose. “You have some funny thoughts,” he tells her.
March turns towards Stelle. “You get it, right?!” She demands. “Mr. Yang’s our father figure on the Express!”
Stelle considers both of them. Seemingly satisfied after a moment, she says, nodding sagely, “Our daddy.”
Or, a few moments aboard the Express about Sunday and Welt.

Summary
Ever since he was small, Danny's parents have always told him that the best way to identify a ghost is to spot their wings. All ghosts have insect-like wings; it’s the one part of them that they can’t transform or hide, no matter how good they are at shapeshifting.
Unfortunately for Danny, it turns out that half-ghosts are no exception. After he accidentally turns on his parents’ ghost portal while he's still inside it, he wakes up with a new pair of wings that don't go away, even when he's in human form. To hide what he’s become from his ghost-hunter parents and the world at large, Danny is forced to bind his wings to keep them out of sight.
Of course, it turns out that forcing a couple of limbs to be perpetually twisted out of shape and pinned against your body leads to constant agony, who could have guessed? But when the options are hiding his wings or letting his parents find out what he's become, what choice does Danny really have?

She quickly learns that Klee has been missing for a little too long, and that the Knights are worried for her safety. Despite her exhaustion, she agrees to help in the search, even if it means pushing herself beyond her limits.
The biggest test to her patience, however, is that the only person who seems unfazed by this situation is Klee's own brother.
