It takes place in an AU where Yeojin, Simok, and Kim Sahyun are college freshmen, and Choi Bit and Woo Tae Ha are Juniors. This is all inspired by a 2016 article in the Wall Street Journal about acorn rangers who try to stop people from gathering acorns on their college campus. If you're not watching the series, then you need to know that Shen Du, the head of the Imperial Guard, and Yan Xing (aka Liuniang), a clerk in the Ministry of Justice, are in a contract marriage granted by the Empress Dowager. They planned to stay married for three months because of obligations they had to work and their families. These characters are complex and interesting, but they can also be categorized as Grumpy/Sunny.
