James could not believe how stupid he has been. How utterly idiotic, completely ridiculously wrong he’d been. Never before had he been so humiliated (except perhaps the time when he had misspelled Ypres in a geography bee, nevermind that he had been in primary school at the time).
He’d gotten the date of the rollout of the Boeing 747 wrong. Not just by a year or two, but nearly an entire decade, and he’d said it aloud, to that charmingly handsome man, so handsome that James had forgotten the man’s name, and then his own, and then the year. In all his time as exhibit designer (paid) and docent (unpaid), he had never forgotten a single fact about the Queen of the Skies.
Until that man walked in.

James is happy planning museum exhibits, managing his graduate assistant Kitty, and wrangling horrid Julian. Perfectly happy, of course, until a tall dark-haired man keeps coming to the museum, asking him about planes. That’s the only reason he’s still showing up, right?

Thomas turned to him, excitement written all over his face. “We can prove them wrong! I need to show Isabelle that I’m capable of serious relationships, and you need to show Anthony that you’re emotionally available and comfortable with your sexuality. So we fake date! Each other, I mean. You know, we go to events together and things, make them really jealous. Then, when we’ve got them where we want them, we stage a break-up! We’ll have them eating out of our hands in no time!”
James thought about it. Amazingly, Thomas was right. The beauty of the plan was that it was so simple. It would work in both of their favours. It would make both Isabelle and Anthony realise that they were incorrect. What could possibly go wrong?

When Thomas and James, mortal enemies and reluctant co-workers at Pat's bookshop, call a temporary truce, their friends are thrilled. Until, of course, the pair reveal that they are faking a relationship to make Isabelle and Anthony jealous. Copia can't stand their Ministry's new Papa V Perpetua, usurping his touring job from him and leaving him behind in an office to do paperwork. But one day while they're arguing in Copia's office, the usually-mysterious yet jovial V starts seeming a bit...off.
Perpetua has been hiding that he's a little since he arrived at the Ministry, but he finally accidentally regresses in front of Copia. Now it's up to Copia to figure out how to handle this.
(Note the tags. This is non-sexual ageplay/regression, not literal de-aging. Fic starts with family angst and then focuses on fluffy fix-it.)
