Summary
When Coach Wiebe suggests that Luca Haas should move in with Ilya for a while, as both of them seem lonely, Ilya nearly loses his mind. Not only does this mean he will see Shane even less than before, but it also means that the Centaurs have realised that Ilya's mental health is suffering. The worst part is that when Ilya tells Shane about it, Shane actually supports the idea, saying that it might be good for Ilya and Luca.
Turns out it's the second-best thing that has ever happened to Ilya.
or: ilya basically adopts luca aka the ottawa found family trope we all need.
this is now a multichapter fic!

What begins as hostility quickly turns into a whirlwind of emotions that Nick cannot seem to escape.

Summary
Nick has always wanted to have children with Charlie, he's dreamed of it for as long as he can remember. At the same time, he's pushed the whole thing so far to the back of his mind. So, when his career could potentially be turned upside down, bringing up issues he had buried for so long, he's not so sure anymore.
aka the fic heavily influenced by "i think about it all the time" by charli xcx, especially the version with bon iver.

Summary
After their engagement, Ilya and Shane return to Russia under the cover of the Irina Foundation, knowing it may be the last time Ilya ever sets foot there. What waits for him is not closure, but grief, memory, and a past he learned to survive by becoming quiet and hard.
It isn’t about going back to the life he escaped.
It’s about one final goodbye—to the place that shaped him, and to the mother he never stopped missing. With Shane beside him—steady, patient, and fiercely careful—Ilya faces grief he’s spent years surviving, old fear that still lives in his bones, and the quiet truth he’s been avoiding:
some doors don’t close cleanly… but you can still choose how to leave them. This is a story about grief, survival, and choosing a future where home is no longer a place, but a person.
