Stan started smelling a sweet but spicy scent. It smelled just like gingersnaps, and as the seconds went by, it became more apparent. Stan’s eyes widened with realization as he looked back at Kyle, immediately putting his hand on Kyle’s shoulder.
"I think he’s entering his first actual heat." Stan could barely say the words, not wanting to attract any attention from the other people in the cafeteria.
