Valentino took up a lot of space. There was no way around it. He engulfed the average sinner by at least six feet. His clothes required a tremendous mass of fabric, long enough to fit his legs (even for his tiniest miniskirts), and wide enough to stretch around his sternum. His chest was massive, and he was eternally cognizant of his wide shoulders that could bulldoze another sinner with ease.
But he was beautiful. At least now he was.
TLDR; Valentino has an eating disorder. Vox invited him to dinner, and he's going to make it work.

Logically, there was a before. He understands that. There was a person he had been, before Gwi-ma. He remembers bits and pieces of him, like little wisps of smoke. Unhappy things, like frantic, screaming voices, and echoes of a nameless pain. The things Gwi-ma allowed him to remember, the shame that kept him obedient and useful in the endless agony of the Underworld.
A shell. A shadow of a boy he didn’t remember. He’d accepted that he’d never be anything else. That he’d never deserve to be anything else.
He’d never, ever, imagined there would be an after. Never let himself hold on to such a reckless, foolish hope.
But here he was, waking in the after.
