Summary
Ever since their fateful crash in 1996, the Yellowjackets tragedy has captured public fascination like nothing else before or since. As their disappearance and eventual recovery coincided with the growth of the modern internet, an online fandom has always existed, whether in the form of newsgroups, blogs, forums, subreddits, or hashtags. Compiling it all would be impossible, and much of it has been lost to time (particularly since the death of Geocities), but several cataloguing attempts have been made. This is one of them.
(Or: a look at the in-universe fandom surrounding the crash, its victims, and its survivors. Forum fic, Reddit fic, Discord fic, Tumblr fic, etc.)

Summary
The Wilderness holds the girls in Its grip, watches Its children squirm and snarl. Teeth and claws and girlhood pain and yes, this is exactly what It has always wanted. The white paint of humanity rubs away to reveal rusted metal that smells of iron. The cold bites the Yellowjackets, tears them open, but the truth is that they have always been starving for this. The paint flakes off and leaves something raw. The Wilderness watches as the girls break free.
Or, a trickle of events that lead to the Yellowjackets' rescue.

These are three separate but intertwined stories of the Yellowjackets as a team and as a family. My take on pit girl and what exactly they've been hiding from their time in the wilderness.
