She's suspected for nearly as long that something far worse has happened to Tron. Her suspicions are finally confirmed when she drags a nearly-derezzed Rinzler from the Sea of Simulation. They've both been haunting themselves for so, so long.

    Summary

    Clu tore Tron out and twisted whatever was left into his favorite guard dog. Yori knows there's no going back, no matter how much she wants to run. So maybe it doesn't matter if Rinzler can't recall who he was before, if Yori recognizes his face and little else. It's a horrible thing, to live past the end of one's own myth. At least they can go haunting together.

    A (mostly) post-Tron:Legacy series focused on Yori and Rinzler following Clu's de-rezzing.

    Something stirred in their mind. That tone of voice was oddly familiar. Somehow, their body calmed down, although their mind was running amok, still.
    Slowly, they turned their head to look back at the creek. That person tilted on one foot, as if he had to look past them. As if they weren't crumpled on the floor.
    “Gimme a sec.”
    Avery.
    Right- it was tugging at their memory. That was Avery. And Avery was… someone.

    Avery's heart was beating out of her chest.
    In front of her, crumpled on the floor- that had to be a person. She could trace it. A mop of dark hair that led into a torso, adorned with a golden chest plate, and a curled in pair of legs. Face down, unmoving…
    Avery was in a state of shock, but she knelt down, and rolled the person onto their back. Curls of hair stuck to their face, and Avery had to wipe them away.
    The face was not one that she knew. A human. Dark skinned, but turning concerningly pale with the ice stuck to it, and most surprisingly- this person must've been around Avery's age. Rounded face, soft features- furrowed brows that twitched when Avery touched their shoulder.
    This person was alive, and freezing.

    A 13 year old Avery finds a person freezing in her backyard. This changes how the next 10 years of her lives unfold.
