his eyes narrow, zeroing in on the figure waltzing (quite literally) into his class. the waltzer comes to a fluid stop, inches from jungkook’s feet and looks at him with bright eyes and a smile full of perfect teeth.
“jung hoseok, your new co-teacher, at your service,” and he has the nerve—nay, the audacity—to bow to jungkook as if that’s going to win him over. jungkook sighs internally, already regretting his decision to get out of bed this morning, and gives him a curt nod of acknowledgement. if this “jung hoseok” guy thinks he can win him over so easily, he’s got another thing coming.

"They all hug him, tight, as tight as they possibly can. Bill and Mike are crying, Stan chokes up saying goodbye. Beverly threatens his life if he doesn’t call or send letters, Ben promises that they’ll all save up money and come visit him. Richie promises letters and calls and tells them all how much he loves them, really does love them, and then it’s Eddie. He doesn’t say anything, pulls Eddie into his chest, as close as he can possibly get him. Eddie’s arms are wrapped around his waist and Richie wants to live in this moment forever if he can. They don’t let go for what seems like years in Richie’s head, and then they do, and Richie decides it’s the most wonderful time to do something very stupid. He leans in, a little, and kisses Eddie."
