Buck stares, unblinking, at the screen for a long time. For too long, maybe.
He has no idea how to even begin to make sense of what he’s looking at, even if he knew to expect this. It must be written all over his face in any case, as the technician takes in his expression in one breath and is adjusting the screen away from him in the next. Summary
When Tommy accepts a quest from a King, like a proper knight should, he's not expecting much. Killing a dragon to free a Prince is pretty cliche, but Tommy feels for the poor guy so he agrees. On the way, he finds himself in a bit of a pinch, and gets saved by a sunny, mysterious, but adorable knight who calls himself Buck
Together, they set out to kill the dragon and free the prince, but Tommy isn't expecting so many secrets, nor so many revelations. There's more to Buck than meets the eye, and Prince Evan isn't where Tommy expects to find him. That's, somehow, the least of his problems. He gets the guy anyway

As of April 2016, The database that stores works on A03 does not allow emoji. If you try to add an emoji it will end your story there. Any words after the emoji? Poof. Gone. This is a known, if poorly advertised, issue with the archive.
There are some workarounds; you can find them in: How to Make iOS Text messages on A03. But here? Here is for ALL THE EMOJI*.
