Dean Winchester was the upstart congressman from Kansas who was already building a reputation as a maverick on the political scene. He had come to Washington with a clear goal in mind, and a lot of people were depending on him to get the job done. The only problem was the stress and pressure of having the weight of so many expectations sitting on his shoulders. He needed an outlet and thought he’d found it at the feet of a gorgeous blue-eyed dom who promised absolute discretion.
Castiel Novak was no stranger to the game of power and politics played by DC’s elite. He offered his services to men with very particular tastes and guaranteed privacy in return for the money he needed to pay for tuition. It was good business until an evening with Dean Winchester made him wish that his professional life could cross over into his personal one.

Summary
When Dean Winchester’s friend and neighbor, Garth, moves out of their duplex, he is not expecting him to be replaced with a cranky, weed-smoking recluse with zero taste in music, but that’s what he gets. But Dean soon realizes there is more behind Castiel’s brooding stare and prickly personality. There is someone worth getting to know. Castiel Novak is a survivor. The best option to correct the situation is to arrange a marriage for Dean as soon as possible. Castiel has recently inherited the title and fortune as Lord Novak after the death of his father. With his new role in society, his mother strongly believes Castiel needs a mate.
Having both Dean and Castiel agree to the union and arranging the mating is the easy part. They have mutual attraction and their values seem to be well-matched. However, it turns out navigating a relationship is difficult when neither party is sure whether the other has been forced into it.
