"Etho... Oh my god.." He turned to Etho and kissed him, "Do you mean it?" Etho nodded.
"Of course I do," He smiled softly at the brunette.
Bdubs was frozen, in shock, he didn't know what to do. Say yes, obviously. But he couldn't get the words out of his mouth.

Grian had put in so much effort to be connected to him. That’s the thing that really got Mumbo. He’d built and detailed a massive tunnel between their bases. He sent Mumbo little messages throughout the day. He’d even tried to set up redstone (redstone!) to give his packages a dramatic entrance.
Somehow it never occurred to Mumbo that Grian might be in love with him. It also never occurred to Mumbo that he might be in love with Grian.

“Hey buddy. You wanna scooch up a little there so I can sit down?” Impulse keeps his voice to a whisper, not wanting to startle him too much. He watches Mumbo’s face as the words register and he realises that Impulse is, actually, there. He looks panicked for a second, before settling on a face that Impulse can only place as exhausted. He shuffles over and sits up, leaning back against the headboard with his duvet still wrapped around him. Impulse sits on the bed and offers an arm up so Mumbo can fall into his side.
He doesn’t hesitate to take the chance, leaning most of his body weight against him. His chest shudders with a sob he tries to keep back. Impulse wraps both arms around him, running one hand through the back of his hair. He’s not sure what to say, but he doesn’t know if Mumbo needs him to say anything. He hopes that just being here will be enough for the moment.

After finishing discussing Grian’s job as an architect and his latest project, Grian finally decides that Scar needs to get some fresh air. He looks breathless, which is never a good sign for him. Grian excuses himself and goes over to Scar, who looks up at him with a smile.
“Hi, love,” Scar says, but his voice is rough, even though Grian has watched him drink water. “Everything okay?”
Grian frowns before helping Scar stand. “You don’t look well. Come on, we’re going outside.”

With Secret Life being over and Scar being crowned as the winner, his memories are back.
Grian had gotten close to him, killed him, and then avoided him like the plague. How that looked to Scar, Grian doesn't even want to know. Hell, he's pretty confident he’d be lucky to get off with just being ignored. In any case, he's pretty sure Scar won't be looking for a confrontation anytime soon.
That being said, Scar’s sudden appearance in their base was not something Grian was expecting.

Grian choked back a sob, he was never going to be human again, never himself again. He needed to do something, anything to connect to his roots. Otherwise this was not going to end.
Tears blurring his vision, Grian scoured the area around him for something to help, and then resorted to his inventory. His eyes flitted over all of the items he was carrying, stopping on his sword.

Grian knew that relapsing was wrong, but sometimes it's the only way to cope with other things.
