Summary
Quidditch and murderers and tabloids, oh my!
All eyes are on Elio Black as he stands on the cusp of adulthood. As he turns seventeen, it's only his schooling that separates him from taking up his responsibilities as Lord of House Black — a family so prestigious it borders on royalty, but unfortunately suffers from frequent premature deaths. Everyone wants to win his favour — or his hand — before he enters the political world.
At the same time, his mass-murderer father has broken out of Azkaban and, the last anyone heard, is headed straight to Hogwarts with one thing on his mind — murder.
Elio is given one rule: don't go looking for his father.
Elio has just one plan: catch his father before the dementors do.

Summary
Ambition, the desire to be better than you are, is only ever as good as its cause. Motivated by pride, selfishly seeking power for one's own personal gain is a dangerous game considered evil more often than it's considered good. But it isn't inherently evil. After all, if you're at the bottom, where else do you have to go but up? And why should you help those that pushed you down there on your climb up?
Dillion Lux had just wanted to expand his skills, to learn something not often mastered. There was no ulterior intent beyond a desire to learn for his own personal gain. But, apparently, even just studying the dark arts tainted him. In a second, after one small slip up, Dillion Lux lost everything.
Tom Riddle has always had nothing. The only thing that's ever been his is his own power, the one that kept him safe when he had to defend himself against the muggle bullies. So it should be reasonable that he would want to grow it, that he would want to have it all. But it is not.
The Dark Arts aren't inherently evil, just as Tom and Dillion aren't. But it's hard to remember that when everyone around them seems to think the opposite.

“Nancy, we gotta go, we can’t save him,” he hears Jonathan say, and just as he watches Nancy raise her gun, something tears through his back.
It’s heat and pain and blackness ripping through his chest, it’s tears on Jonathan’s face, it’s Nancy pulling the trigger, and they need to move they need to move they need to move and he can’t move and everything is going black and breathing doesn’t exist anymore so with whatever breath his lungs can gather, he yells.
“Run,” he gasps out, more wheeze than word, and he feels warm blood soaking his abdomen. The thing in his chest is holding him up now, his body limp, every nerve screaming as his vision blurs. He can feel its body pulsing inside him.
Nancy’s wide eyes narrow. Steve hears a bang, and he’s dead.

Summary
This is a project to create a conlang that will expand upon and deepen the Elvhen language that was created for the Bioware game series, Dragon Age. Elvhen, as it is used in the games, is a cipher, not a language. My goal is to create a complete conlang, or at least a simulated conlang, that other fans can use. The goal is to create a constructed language that is to Dragon Age what Sindarin and Quenya are to Lord of the Rings.
I do want to stress that this is a constructed language based upon the limited Elvhen we had encountered within the games. I am not using magical linguistic ninjitsu to "Figure out," the Elvhen language. In terms of the "official," language, consider this linguistic fan-fiction.

Summary
Laimsa: literal meaning, lost one. An Elven term for their enslaved ancestors.
In this incredibly dark and upsetting tale, the slaver raid Halamar Lavellan survived when he was ten went very differently. Instead of surviving with his clan, he was captured and taken to Tevinter to be sold into slavery. The poor kid tries everything to escape, even suicide, multiple times. He goes through a living hell before being sold to the Pavus family. A young, nearly friendless Dorian, ecstatic to have someone about his own age around, wants to befriend him. Halamar, not even allowed his true name anymore, can't trust him until he proves himself any different from his parents.
This is a tragic and messy teenage romance story. It will be an extremely slow burn between Halamar and Dorian over the course of several years, where they met under very different circumstances much earlier in life. It will be a story about justice and the utter dearth of it in Thedosian society. It will be a story where one of Dorian's first real friendships radicalizes him at a young age. It will be a tale of child abuse, suicidality, and overcoming both. And it will be a tale, against all odds, of revenge and escape.
