Summary
"The rest of the team has probably gotten here by now, but Lance doesn't have it in him to care.
The two of them throw themselves at eachother, grabbing at eachother like it’d be their last. Lance thinks he's choking, but he also thinks it's because of the way his eyes water and breath gets short.
Keith, who, Lance notes, is an inch or so taller than he was before, grapples at Lance. He's babbling something in Lance's neck (it's either oh my god or just Lance over and over again).
They both, undoubtedly, probably look gross. But, if you can guess, Lance doesn't give two shits.
All he does, with that thought in mind, is grab Keith by his cheeks and kiss him. It's not long, but it feels like it.
He missed Keith. Oh, how he missed Keith."

When Lance died, he had no idea that Red would automatically reconnect with Keith. With the aftermath of both of these problems, the boys have to navigate through daily life-- Keith with the idea the love of his life is dead, and Lance dealing with the absence of Keith and the effect of his death on himself.

The war is over. Finally able to live the way they want, the Paladins separate and start their futures in different directions...except for two. Keith and Lance never thought it was appropriate to start anything while being Paladins of Voltron. Now? They have been on a road trip across America, just enjoying each other's company. It's been about two years and they are hitting the final leg of the trip up north. Lance has been getting antsy. What could be up?

The couple shared companionable silence as Lance sipped his tea, his eyes closing and head leaning back as he listened to the rain hit the roof. Holding his cup with his right hand, Lance scooted a little closer to his lover and his left hand found Keith's leg, stroking absentmindedly, just wanting the contact. Without hesitation, said leg moved to lie in Lance's lap, his hand finding a place on the Korean American's knee, thumb caressing leisurely.

Summary
Somewhere along the way, after the final battle of Voltron, Keith and Lance fell in love and started a life together. Now they are taking the next step. But it’s not all pre-marital bliss, because organizing a wedding is more stressful than Keith thought it would be. He really hadn't expected to bump into Lance McClain, of all people, when he walked out of his hotel this morning but it seemed the sly forces of coincidence were against him.
Here he was, glowing like a ray of fucking sunshine, melting away any coherent thoughts Keith had left in his brain. And, damn, if Keith wasn't going to at least try and be nice. He smiled again quickly, reigning in his resting bitch face which Shiro teased him about all the time.
Lance returned his smile brightly and nodded. “Yeah, you too. Maybe I’ll be in another class with you next semester? You still taking physics?”
“Hopefully.” Keith nodded, holding up crossed fingers. Lance breathed out a laugh, eyes sparkling.
“Cool, me too.” He flipped his sunglasses off his head and they fell in an annoyingly perfect way onto the bridge of his nose. He looked at Keith over the rims. “See you around, Keith.”

Lance took a deep breath, opened the stream and stepped through.
He was greeted by the sun, bright in the cloudless sky. Flowers littered the meadow, waving gently in the breeze. But the brightest thing in the meadow had to have been the smile that greeted him.
